Howdy doesn’t cost anything – it’s free to use!

Simply tap ‘Sign in with LinkedIn’ and enter your LinkedIn account email and password.

Your Howdy profile will then appear instantly – easy!

Should you wish to include other information above your LinkedIn profile description such as your interests or the type of people you’re looking to meet, you can do so by tapping “My Profile”.

While you’re equipped to meet as many people as you’d like, we encourage you to focus on the quality of connections instead of quantity.

Only those whom you’d like to meet will receive a Howdy push notification on their smartphone e.g. “Someone wants to meet you”.

People whom you’ve turned down will not be notified.

If the interest is mutual, you will receive a Howdy notification on your smartphone e.g. “You met someone new”.

Both of you can then begin chatting in private within the app without exchanging any contact details.

In the Howdy app, go to “Settings” > “Notify me when” > hit the toggle button to turn off notifications.

We only charge for certain value-added services such as support, raw data, premium Q&A features, etc.

Telling your community about your community or event on Howdy is most important for success, which is why we’ve got dedicated marketing support ready and waiting for you.

There are 2 methods you can choose from – upload your agenda in PDF file format or display it as an image on your event description page.

Howdy isn’t a ticketing platform, although people who discover your event on Howdy can get their tickets through the ticketing link specified by you during set up.

Howdy has been designed to be simple and efficient to launch.

Getting your community or event onto the app can take anywhere between 1-10 minutes, depending on the amount of information you wish to include.

We’re integrated with Eventbrite so if your event is listed there, you can import your event details in a snap by logging in to the Howdy portal using your Eventbrite account.

When your members sign in to Howdy, they allow us to share their personal data with the hosts of events and communities that they join – in this case, you.

As the host, you will also be the only third party that their behaviour within your events and communities is shared with.

If the user joins somebody else’s network, their personal details and behavioural data generated within those events and communities will only be shared with that host.
